Stay Healthy in 2010!

It's that time of the year to make those New Year's resolutions! To help with those resolutions, we will be conducting personal fitness evaluations in the Fitness Center on Jan. 26th & 27th. We will assess body composition, flexibility, balance, muscular strength & endurance, agility, and cardiovascular fitness. Our very own trained professionals, will design an exercise program for each resident, based on fitness evaluation results and individual goals. We offer a wide variety of fitness programs to enhance the lives of our residents, such as: Fit & Flex, Cardiomotion, Better Balance, and The Regent Walking Club.

A few special wellness programs have also been planned. On Jan. 14th a registered dietician will be here to discuss healthy eating habits for seniors. On Jan 28th a physical therapist will be here from Serenity Home Health to give us some helpful tips on balance and fall prevention. We look forward to a safe and healthy New Year!
