It's that time of the year to make those New Year's resolutions! To help with those resolutions, we will be conducting personal fitness evaluations in the Fitness Center on
Jan. 26th & 27th. We will assess body
composition,
flexibility, balance, muscular strength & endurance, agility, and cardiovascular fitness. Our very own trained professionals, will design an exercise program for each resident, based on fitness evaluation results and individual goals. We offer a wide variety of fitness programs to enhance the lives of our residents, such as: Fit & Flex,
Cardiomotion, Better Balance, and The Regent Walking Club.
A few special wellness programs have also been planned. On
Jan. 14th a registered
dietician will be here to discuss healthy eating habits for seniors. On
Jan 28th a physical therapist will be here from Serenity Home Health to give us some helpful tips on balance and fall prevention. We look forward to a safe and healthy New Year!
