Maxine Kirkpatrick is a native of Wichita, KS. At the young age of 18, she started working for the oil companies doing secretarial work. Her father died when Maxine was only 9 and she remembers her mother keeping the family very close. Maxine grew up with four siblings and went to work out of high school to help support her family. She later married, had two children, and moved to Oklahoma for a short time. Today, Maxine enjoys keeping active! She is currently working on her family genealogy!
