Resident Spotlight


Resident Spotlight - George Marsh

George Marsh was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1932. At the age of 9 his family moved to Bakersfield and then to Fresno. George attended high school, college and also began his career in Fresno. George has been an educator since 1955 and continues as a consultant with Fresno Pacific University. He’s taught elementary, middle school, and even university graduate students. In 1956 George was drafted into the military and was stationed in Germany. His duties included being a financial clerk and a chaplain’s assistant. George stated that he has met all his major goals in life, finished his education, got married, had children, and traveled. He says that he has completed his bucket list and is having to add more! He has been to 54 countries and soon 55! Even though George has experienced tragedies in his life he says that “life is good.”
